Grants
Each year, the Florida Support Autism Programs Specialty License Plate generates funds that support nonprofit organizations providing direct services for individuals with autism and related disabilities in Florida. The Autism License Plate Fund and the Autism Services Grant Council are administered by Arc Broward, a nationally accredited, Florida, non-profit, Section 501(c)(3) exempt organization.
“Every Autism license plate we put on the road is a rolling billboard reminding people that individuals with autism are a meaningful part of the community,” says Kim Vassar, Chair of the Autism Services Grants Council in Florida, “It is amazing to see that even a small investment in a specialty license plate helps to fund the good work of these organizations throughout the state.”
For those wanting to purchase an Autism license plate, they are available for purchase at Local, County and private Motor Vehicle Plate Renewal Offices throughout the state. Click here for more information.

The Autism Grants Services Council awarded a total of $150,000 in grants to 17 Florida-based nonprofit organizations that provide services and programs for individuals with autism and related disabilities. The funds available through grant opportunities offered by the Autism Services Grants Council are generated through the sale of the Florida “Support Autism Programs” specialty license plates.
